About
Inti. The sun is called Inti in both Aymara and Quechua, the languages of half my family. Inti is usually called Tata Inti, which means Father Sun. In this image, I drew inspiration from the cosmic serpent Amaru, who can travel between the earthly and spiritual realms. The sun is a life giver —in this image represented by the corn that grows and feeds the community.
